I studied Film and TV Production at Galatasaray University in Istanbul, where I founded and led the university's Photography Club. After a brief exploration of photography, I discovered my passion for filmmaking while working on my graduation short film.

After gaining experience as an assistant director in Istanbul, I moved to New York City in 2006. There, I worked on various projects, progressing from intern to director by 2009. In 2011, I returned to Turkey to work as a Second Unit Director on the feature film Anadolu Kartalları, an incredible experience involving extensive aerial filming.

From 2012, I directed TV commercials in Istanbul before shifting my focus in 2017 to developing and producing unscripted TV shows. Until 2020, I partnered with Sera Film Services to bring creative TV formats to life, with several projects being showcased at MIP Markets in Cannes, including one that was optioned by a U.S. content company.

In 2020, after eight incredible years in Istanbul, I moved with my family to Houston, Texas, to explore new horizons. There, I launched PLOOOPS—an online wholesale and distribution company specializing in e-commerce marketplaces. Since our inception in 2022, we've grown from major apparel brands to a diverse product range, including food, office supplies, health & beauty products, and cleansers, driven by our experience in the ship supply industry.

After almost five years away—navigating relocation, COVID, and family health issues—I'm thrilled to be back in the TV and format scene, proud to be attending Content London 2024. I'm excited for what lies ahead and can't wait to create the next chapter of my journey!
